The Good Part Events
I handle the hard parts so you can enjoy the good part.
For weddings, celebrations, and all the moments worth being present for.
About The Good Part Events
The Good Part Events came from something I kept seeing over and over again: people spend so much time planning a celebration they’re excited about, and then when the day finally gets here, they’re the ones answering questions, checking the timeline, finding missing things, and making sure everyone else knows what they’re doing.
That’s the part I want to take off your plate.
I’m here for the timelines, vendor texts, last-minute questions, little details, and all of the things happening behind the scenes so you don’t have to spend your wedding or event managing it.
I want it to feel organized without feeling stiff, beautiful without feeling like someone else’s Pinterest board, and most importantly, like something you actually got to be present for.
That’s the good part.
Meet the Owner
Hi, I’m Katelyn, the owner and planner behind The Good Part Events.
I’ve always been the person who goes a little overboard for a birthday, notices when something feels off, or starts thinking about the tiny details way before anyone else does. I genuinely love making things feel special, but I also love the behind-the-scenes part of figuring out how everything is actually going to work.
My experience in weddings and events has included venue coordination, event setup, vendor communication, timelines, rehearsals, and wedding-day management. It taught me pretty quickly that the best event days aren’t the ones where nothing goes wrong. They’re the ones where someone is there to handle it before you ever have to worry about it.
That’s the person I like being for my clients.

“Katelyn planned every detail down to the minute, thought of countless things that never would have crossed our minds, and handled problems before we ever knew they existed. Because of her, we were able to be fully present and enjoy our wedding instead of worrying about schedules, vendors, logistics, or what was happening behind the scenes. She was one of the very best decisions we made for our wedding, and we would recommend her without hesitation.”
